Delete your Socify account
You can delete your Socify account and its personal data at any time — in the app, or by emailing us if you no longer have the app.
Option 1 — Delete in the app
- Open Socify and sign in.
- Tap More, then your name to open My profile.
- Tap Delete account and confirm with your password.
You're signed out and removed from all your apartments straight away, and your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you've uninstalled the app or can't sign in, email us from the address registered with Socify:

Subject: Socify account deletion request
Include: your registered email, and the name of your apartment(s) and flat(s).
To protect your account, we'll send a confirmation link to your registered email address. Once you confirm, we delete your account within 30 days and email you when it's done. Can't access that email? Tell us and we'll verify you another way.
If you're an admin
Every apartment must have at least one admin. If you're the only admin of an apartment, make another member an admin (More → Members & admins) or delete the apartment before deleting your account. If you email us instead, we'll contact you to arrange this.
What gets deleted
- Your account: email address and password;
- Your profile: name, phone number and address;
- Your memberships and roles in every apartment, and pending invitations to your email;
- Your notification settings, device tokens, and diagnostic logs linked to you.
Backups are cleared of deleted data within a further 30 days.
What stays with your apartment
Some records belong to your apartment's Association because they document its accounts. They stay available to the apartment's members after you leave:
- Bills already generated, including PDFs that show your flat's amount and your name at the time, and your flat's paid/unpaid history;
- Income and expense entries, including any that name you as the person who paid;
- Complaints and meeting notes — complaints you raised are kept for the apartment's history but show as from a "Former member".
These records are deleted when the apartment's admins delete the apartment from Socify. If you'd like something specific removed, email us and we'll work with your apartment's admins.
