Questions
Good to know.
Does Socify collect maintenance payments?
No. Residents pay your association directly using its UPI ID or QR code, which is printed on every bill. Socify never holds your money or sees your bank details. Admins mark each flat as paid in the app.
Can I belong to more than one apartment?
Yes. One Socify account can be linked to several apartments — as an admin in one and an owner or tenant in another — and you switch between them from the apartments screen.
Who can see my details?
Only people in your own apartment. Admins can view member profiles but can't edit them, and people in other apartments can't see anything about yours. Read our Privacy Policy for the details.
What happens if a water meter has no reading?
When you split the tanker by meter, meters without a reading in the billing period count as zero usage, and the share of unassigned meters is split equally. Socify flags missing readings before you generate.
Can I get my data out, or delete my account?
Yes. Your profile has Export my data and Delete account options. You can also request deletion here.
